Paralyzed from the chest down due to a pro-am motocross accident, Kent was given news that he would never regain feeling in his body and legs. Misti stood by her boyfriend in this new world and encouraged him to be the best man he could be. It was a tough journey together, life is hard, they had their ups and downs but to me they are Romeo and Juliet. Through research by the Christopher Reeve foundation a surgical implant gave Kent feeling and some control throughout his entire body. Thinking he was wheelchair bound for the rest of his life, Kent was able to stand while his bride walked down the aisle. Kent gave his vows from the bottom of his heart, the first groom we’ve ever seen to say his vows un-scripted. Misti twirled Kent during their first dance and the look on their faces was pure joy. We shed many a tear shooting and editing this one, you two have an amazing story and we are honored to get to share it. |
