Jacob was deployed to Iraq just days after he proposed to Aracely at their special spot on the beach in Newport, RI. Fast forward three years, a couple more deployments, skype dates, innumerable phone calls and eight months of wedding planning… While praying for his safety, surrounding herself with people he loved, and hanging on every phone call and letter, he returned to her on a Sunday and they got married just six days later. We are so touched by their story and are thankful they invited us to be a part of it. What an encouragement to military couples across the U.S! |
